I am very proud to hold the Diploma of Honorary member of
the A.N.S.A. 39/45 Orne-Maine. It is very stimulating to work with the group,
to look for fragments of planes on crash sites and to converse with
witnesses. Besides, honouring the aviators in presence of their families or
meeting survivors it remains a unique experience, always extremely moving and
gratifying for me. When I am requested to actively take part in searches and
ceremonies, I am fully aware of my being the representative of all my
RAF friends who died in fighting the nazi
oppression.
